A Message from Senior Pastor Peg Boucher:
Have you ever made a statement to yourself, similar to this: "There has got to be something more, or better, in life!" Well I did! It was way before ministry was a call in my life, I was at a turning point in my life, where it felt like I was missing something, like a big void, something important, but I just didn't know what it was. I wasn't particularly in any crisis, life was ok, just ok, but personally I felt there was something lacking! My heart was desiring something more fulfilling personally, inwardly.
Well, may I say that there are things that happen in our lives, unknown to us, that are put before us to reach out, connect to, obtain, to help us find what we are seeking. I know now, that God was putting before me opportunities to find him, and by that I mean, discover who he really is!
You see I grew up knowing of God, Jesus, & the Holy Spirit, but never really discovered who they were, until an invitation was given to me to go to a church extended to me by a complete stranger, a church I was not familiar with, but in my heart I knew it was important to go. It was at that first church service, my heart was sincerely touched, and I began my "Faith Journey" in beginning to discover who God is! You see for the very first time, I discovered that it was really about me developing a personal relationship with God, Jesus, & the Holy Spirit, so that it becomes real, not just a story in a book, or a conversation with people, or something people talk about.
This "Faith Journey" is a process, each one in our own time frame, on an ongoing basis, matched only by whatever your desire is! Like in any relationship, what makes it most valuable is what you put into it, is what you'll get out of it, which all begins when you take a step of faith/belief to begin a journey of discovery.
I would like to encourage you to take that step of faith, find out what it is that is speaking to your heart. Is there something missing, do you feel a void, empty, lonely, depressed, anxious, sad, mad, desperate? These are only a few of the many terms/words that can describe what you may now be feeling in your life, but it does not have to define your life! So I would like to extend to you an invitation, to come & visit us, take that 1st step, and discover how you can begin anew, become fulfilled!
We'll do your Journey Good!
